Fridays @ Marrakech

An inner city den of inequity Marrakech is the imperfect venue to engage you in: a cheeky albeit regular fixture of jagerbombs skolling, a pillow romp on our enclosed day bed (pillows inclusive), a dance floor therapy of intelligent beats at the behest of weekly residents Wei-shen, Sunshine & Chardy or, a late night impasse full of irreverent hedonism. To compliment any Friday evening, live contortionists, fire breathers, fortune tellers and magicians are just some of the shady characters you’re likely to cross paths with as well as Public Liability regulars; retail whores in designer couture, composition aficionados, token drug peddlers, bent cops, Toorak socialites, wannabe DJs, King Street lap dancers, unmarked industry identities, in demand fashion designers, failing undergraduates, bayside wankers & unemployed bartenders. With such an eclectic marketing mix; one must ask around “Just, how good is Marrakech?"

music:
electro
scene: Small Club / Bar for those with taste.

dresscode:
Smart Casual, No Shorts or thongs

lineup:
Marrakech Fridays play the likes of Chardy, Wei-Shen QC & Sunshine. We've exposed the talents of Jimi Niel, Benny Beck, Luke Browne, Matt Hill and other up and coming DJs. We pride ourselves on our late night Young Talent Time performance giving new DJs a chance to air their wares and bring a fresh new flavour to the night. The only way to truly understand Marrakech is to experience it.
