Tsuyoshi Suzuki is one of the world’s best known trance and techno DJs & is considered one of the world’s hottest psy-trance producer/jockeys.

Suzuki has pieced together a collage-world for himself, wherein he is the human-sequencer, the nu-shaman, the organic tech-head and el capitan del mar. You may or may not have heard of him, but rest assured, Suzuki has heard of you and he’s comin’ after you!!

Tsuyoshi plays, produces, writes rock and runs labels. Joujouka is his elektro rock band, Numanoid is his elektro DJ alias and of course Tsuyoshi Suzuki the original Goa inspired Psy-power DJ & producer!!

He has played some of the biggest electronic events worldwide including the Berlin Love Parade, Mardi Gras, the Fuji Rock Festival, Tribal Gathering, Phoenix Festival, Rainbow 2000, Earthcore, Return to the Source and Vuuv to name but a few, Tsuyoshi has been part of many Goa trance projects too including Bass Chakra, Joujouka, Kailash, Prana, and Taiyō.

He has been producing music since 1994 on literally hundreds of labels worldwide and has been the musical director for Issey Miyake and Versace.

The embracing of a broad range of music is definitely stapled to Suzuki’s lapel. He describes his various incarnations as such: “When I play and produce under DJ Tsuyoshi, it’s basically trance and when it’s under Numanoid and Joujouka, it is electro/rock/house/punk. By this time in life I’ve heard and identified with so many different kinds of music that these are merely outlets of some of the ones I want to focus and develop on. It’s what excites me the most.”
