Famous, one of Melbourne’s clubbing institutions will soon close its doors at the Queensbridge Hotel.
Famous will reopen at a more intimate venue in time for Summer, so stay tuned to futureentertainment.com.au and famousclub.com.au for regular updates.
Since opening in August 2006, Famous has revolutionized Saturday nights in Melbourne. Famous has entertained close to 200,000 club goers and has showcased some of the worlds best DJ’s and live artists.
Future Clubs would like to thank everyone who has supported Famous by attending every week as well as the local DJs and promoters, and venue management and staff. We’d also like to thank the host of International guests that have graced the decks over the past 2 years including Junior Jack, Kid Crème, Paolo Mojo, Steve Porter, Junkie XL, Steve Aoki, Serge Santiago, Tocadisco, Sebastian Leger, King Roc, Richard Dinsdale and Princess Superstar, just to name a few.
Make sure you don’t miss the next few weeks of Famous as we say farewell in style.
Famous will host it’s final night at Queensbridge on July 12, 2008. Closing night will be a massive celebration, so we want to see every person who has ever partied at Famous and welcome those who have never been to come and check it out before we move on to somewhere new and exciting!
Launching at Queensbridge in August will be the new, highly anticipated Trance night, Infinity. Check out www.futureentertainment.com.au for full details.
