Didnt get enough of Chris Fortier on his recent Australian tour?

Fortier's critically acclaimed debut artist album “As Long as the Moment Exists”, written in airport waiting lounges and 30,000 feet in the air, consisting of 15 stunning tracks ranging from air freshener for the ears electronica through to techno to frown to, saw the name Chris Fortier written in Techno’s little black book forever.

In 2008, As Long As The Moment Exists gets the extreme make over treatment by some of Chris’ all time musical heroes alongside some of his favourite new artists. The list of artists involved in this stunning collection of musical visions reads like a roll call of underground music’s who’s who; past, present and future:

Bruno Pronsato, Someone Else, Pheek, Joey Beltram, Mark Henning, Ed Davenport, Joel Mull, Error Error and Patrick Zigon to name just a few.

“I am proud to re-invigorate my debut artist album with new, fresh interpretations by some of the coolest producers around. This project will consist of a series of EP releases culminating LP/CD release collection.” Chris Fortier

A vinyl devotee, Chris refuses to give in to the so called digital revolution and as a touring DJ is still more than happy to discuss excess baggage with airline staff. So partnering with the world’s leading underground dance distributor, Intergroove Germany, to ensure the best of these works find their way into the hands of the vinyl buying community first, seemed the right thing to do.

Digital evangelists and vinyl doomsayers, stay calm – each EP will be made available exclusively at dance music’s digital mecca Beatport.com, a fortnight after each vinyl release, and will include two bonus digital only tracks that aren’t a couple of token digital-only mixes by some nobodies. Start thinking In & Needle, Perc, Joey Beltram and Mark Broom; then you’re on the right track. Each EP will be exclusive to Beatport.com for 4 weeks.

Early supports include: John Digweed, David Squillace, Lee Burridge, Philipp Jung (M.A.N.D.Y), Hernan Cattaneo, DJ Three, Barem and Dario Zenker.
